Our client wanted to clear away all the unsightly wild shrubs from the boundary to their rear garden that runs adjacent to a footpath. We had to deal with a steep bank, but also provide a barrier between the path and the garden. We came up with the idea of a lovely wooden raised bed constructed from our treated softwood railway sleepers to retain the bank, then planting for a lovely mixed hedge along its length to give our client privacy from the footpath. A great solution and a lovely project for our Garden Landscaping team in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire.
