Sometimes it might be to incorporate a useful bank or slope (awkward banks or slopes can be useful features in a garden design project) to create a raised terrace or flower bed. Maybe your neighbour’s garden is much higher than yours, and you need a strong wall (or walls) to stop it falling into your garden!

Maybe you would like to create a terraced planting area, or interesting walkway around the garden. Whatever your ideas, we can build walls and retainers out of all sorts of weird and wonderful materials to create the garden that you are looking for.

If all else fails and you really don’t like having a slope or bank in your garden, then simple – we’ll dig it out, take it away and build a strong supporting wall in its place. You can often dramatically increase the useful size of a garden this way – Julian did it in his own garden the moment he was informed that a baby boy was on the way!
